While new program starts are in a holding pattern until a defense authorization bill is passed by Congress, the Navy is preparing to launch its medium-range unmanned aerial system, a follow-on to the Fire Scout, by plucking what it needs from previously approved initial capabilities documents for other platforms, according to an official.
