NATO Countries Working On UAV Interoperability Agreement

NATO nations have begun the process of ratifying an agreement to increase the interoperability of military unmanned aerial vehicles, the alliance announced this week. "In the current drive to enhance alliance defense capabilities, UAV technology is at the cutting edge of the revolution in military affairs, as clearly demonstrated by military operations, notably in Afghanistan, and earlier in the Gulf," a Sept. 16 NATO statement reads.
