Navistar Splits From BAE's Joint Light Tactical Vehicle Team

Navistar Defense will be flying solo in its bid for the Army-Marine Corps Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, separating from its former partner on the project, BAE Systems, InsideDefense.com has learned. Officials from both companies confirmed the split earlier today. Navistar will seek one of three possible JLTV engineering and development contracts with its new Saratoga vehicle and BAE will continue on with partners Northrop Grumman and Meritor Defense.
