Navy Awards $7.4 Million Contract to Northrop Grumman Subsidiary

The Navy yesterday awarded a $7.4 million contract for Lightweight Tactical Automated Communications Control Systems (LTACCS) to California Microwave Systems, a unit of Northrop Grumman Corporation, according to a company statement. While the Navy is the lead contracting agency for the five-year, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract, the Army's special operations forces will receive the first 11 portable units, according to the statement.
