Navy Awards Titan $26 Million Affordable Weapon Systems Contract

NEW YORK -- The Navy has awarded Titan Corp. a $25.6 million contract to continue investigating the development of low-cost weapon systems, the company announced yesterday. Titan Chairman, President and CEO Gene Ray told participants at an aerospace and defense finance conference here that the Navy will include the Affordable Weapon Systems Program in its 2004 program objective memorandum.
