Navy Looks To Industry For Help In Developing Non-Lethal Weapons

The Navy is seeking a family of non-lethal systems for countering piracy, defending moored vessels, equipping convoy vehicles and other missions, according to a notice released earlier this month. The Dec. 8 notice, posted on Federal Business Opportunities , notes that the announcement is part of the Navy non-lethal effects family of systems analysis of alternatives, conducted by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, VA.
