Navy Sends Cruiser Phased Modernization Plan To Congress

The Navy late last month briefed Congress on the path ahead for implementing a long-term, phased modernization plan for the service's cruiser fleet. In a document sent to Congress March 26 , the Navy laid out a timeline to implement the "Two-Four-Six" modernization plan for 11 out of the service's 22 cruisers and three amphibious dock landing ships.
