New Army TRADOC Commander Nominated

Army Lt. Gen. Kevin Byrnes has been nominated to become the next commanding general of the service's Training and Doctrine Command at Ft. Monroe, VA, the Defense Department announced today. Byrnes, who will replace retiring TRADOC chief Lt. Gen. John Abrams if he is confirmed, is director of the Army Staff at the Pentagon, according to a DOD statement.
