New device will ease soldiers' targeting of precision-guided munitions

A new targeting system will enable forward observers to achieve "timely effects" by eliminating a lengthy process ill-suited to the immediacy of the battlefield, according to the Army's assistant product manager for soldier precision targeting devices.
