In New GCV Solicitation, Army Pushes Affordability Targets And Increased Trade Space

After months of reviews and revisions, the Army today re-released its solicitation for the technology-development phase of the Ground Combat Vehicle program, emphasizing affordability targets and "trade space" that will allow industry increased design freedom. The Army will seek to award up to three contracts for the 24-month long TD phase, according to the request for proposals on the GCV Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
