Northrop Grumman, TRW Tell Justice Department They Will Continue With Merger

Northrop Grumman and TRW today told the Justice Department that they intend to go through with their planned merger, even though Justice hasn't finished its own antitrust review. "Northrop Grumman reports that it believes, based on discussions with the Department of Defense, that the Defense Department has recommended to the Justice Department that the transaction proceed," the two companies said in a joint statement.
