Office of Force Transformation Microsatellite Launch Set for this Winter

BOSTON -- The Pentagon's Office of Force Transformation plans to launch a microsatellite this winter in an experiment designed to explore ways of providing rapid and low-cost access to space. The Operationally Responsive Space Experiment, also called "TacSat-1," will cost less than $15 million.
