Official: Afghan Security Forces Can Handle Threats From 'Safe Havens'

Afghan security forces will be able to handle their own security, including threats from terrorist pockets camped out in safe havens in Pakistan, following the U.S. military's withdrawal in 2014, a Pentagon official said today.
