OSD Gives Army Green Light to Award WIN-T Contracts

The Pentagon's acting acquisition chief, Michael Wynne, last week gave the Army the authority to award two contracts to continue the development of the service's future tactical intranet. The Army last year authorized General Dynamics C4I Systems and Lockheed Martin Mission Systems to begin development of the Warfighter Information-Tactical program.
