Patriot Missile System Test Postponed Until Feb. 16

The Army and Missile Defense Agency postponed a test of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missile until Feb. 16 after a target malfunctioned in an attempt today, the service announced. The test will involve a simultaneous scenario in which one PAC-3 missile is expected to engage and intercept a cruise missile target, while two PAC-2 missiles try to engage and intercept a sub-scale aircraft as well as a full-scale aircraft emitting radar-jamming signals, according to statement from the Army program executive...
