Pentagon Group Tackles Sharing of IED Attack Data

The Pentagon has created a panel charged with improving the sharing and exploitation of data recorded following each roadside bomb attack on U.S. forces. Defense officials quietly created the group last July at the behest of Michael Krieger, the director of information policy in the office of Defense Department Chief Information Officer John Grimes, according to Christine DeVries, a spokeswoman for the Joint IED Defeat Organization.
