Pentagon Names Head of New Joint UAV Center

The Defense Department is moving quickly to stand up its new Joint Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Center of Excellence, appointing Army Brig. Gen. Walter Davis to lead the new UAV operation. Davis -- head of the Army's 20th Support Command, which oversees units equipped to respond to situations involving chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons -- and a yet-to-be-named Air Force deputy will oversee the new UAV center at Creech Air Force Base, NV, according to a Pentagon statement issued today...
