Pentagon Pricing Czar Previews New Commercial Items Strategy

Shay Assad, the Pentagon's pricing director, provided details Monday on the Defense Department's new and ongoing efforts to enable acquisition program managers to better assess commercial products and services. Key to DOD's strategy will be the establishment of several new commercial pricing centers of excellence, or regional cells.
