Pentagon Releases Latest Selected Acquisition Reports

The Pentagon yesterday released its latest list of major defense acquisition program cost and schedule changes. The lists are based on the Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs) submitted to Congress for the Sept. 30, 1999, reporting period. SARs encapsulate the latest estimates of cost, schedule, and technical status. They are prepared annually in conjunction with the president's budget.
