Raytheon, RAMSYS Extend Cooperation on U.S.-German Rolling Airframe Missile

Raytheon announced today it has extended for another decade its cooperative agreement with RAM-System GmbH (RAMSYS) for the U.S.-German Rolling Airframe Missile program, which provides self-defense capabilities for naval ships. RAMSYS is a joint company of Diehl/BGT and EADS GmbH. Raytheon and RAMSYS act as RAM program prime contractors, taking turns on contracts for U.S. and German purchases, Raytheon said in a statement.
