Retired Air Force General Hired to Oversee Sandia Security Implementation

National Nuclear Security Administration chief Linton Brooks this week appointed retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Thomas Neary to oversee security improvements at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. In this new but temporary position, Neary will report to Brooks through the NNSA's acting chief of defense nuclear security in Washington, according to a Sept. 23 agency announcement.
