Roberts Wants 'Damage Assessment' of Media Leaks that Exposed Secret Surveillance

The Senate intelligence committee chairman has asked Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte for a "damage assessment" of high-profile media leaks that exposed classified efforts to track terrorist activity, including those that underpinned a recent New York Times article on previously secret CIA-Treasury Department surveillance of international financial transactions.
