SBIRS High Official Says 'Replanning' will Impact Program Cost and Schedule

A Space Based Infrared System High program official told InsideDefense.com today that a "replanning" of the missile-launch warning effort "will impact the program's cost and schedule." Officials will lay out the new approach when they meet with the Defense Acquisition Board April 20. SBIRS High, which has a history of cost overruns, was reviewed by the DAB Dec. 12.
