Senate Confirms Bush Pick for Bureau of Export Administration

The Senate yesterday confirmed Kenneth Juster as under secretary of commerce for export administration. In that position, Juster will also head the department's Bureau of Export Administration, which plays a key national security role in managing U.S. export controls and protecting critical infrastructure. Before President Bush nominated him for the export administration job, Juster was a senior partner in the Washington, DC, law firm of Arnold & Porter, where he focused on international trade, transactions and dispute resolution, according to...
