Senators Aim To Boost Pressure On Current F-35 Contract Costs

Senators are seeking new, legal ways to apply downward pressure on the cost of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program's current contract, Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin (D-MI) told reporters today. Senators might consider such options when the full chamber takes up the fiscal year 2012 defense authorization bill, Levin said.
