Small Diameter Bomb Gets Pentagon Approval for Low-Rate Production

The Pentagon has approved the Small Diameter Bomb program's entry into low-rate initial production, according to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The milestone decision follows a so-called "paper DAB" review, a process by which the Defense Acquisition Board makes a decision without meeting in person.
