Strategic Command Next in Trying out 'Plans-to-Resources' Approach

Officials at U.S. Strategic Command have agreed to adopt a relatively new analytical process that uses the command's military plans as the basis for crafting resource recommendations in next year's budgeting cycle, according to an Institute for Defense Analyses official who helped pilot the program at several commands.
