Textron Negotiates Revised H-1 Development Contract

Textron has renegotiated its H-1 helicopter remanufacture program contract with the Marine Corps, the company's chief executive officer announced today. "This new contract refines the requirements for the remainder of the development program and establishes a new, higher budget baseline," Lewis Campbell told investment analysts during a conference call on Textron's first-quarter 2002 earnings.
