Unconventional Warfare Concept Goes 'Back to the Drawing Board'

U.S. Special Operations Command officials hope to finish work on the military's first-ever joint integrating concept for unconventional warfare by the end of the year, despite early indications that reaching consensus on the document could be difficult, according to documents and sources. In late October, SOCOM officials distributed the first draft of the document for comment throughout the military.
