University of California Team Wins Los Alamos Contract

The University of California team that includes Bechtel National, BWX Technologies and Washington Group International has won a high-stakes competition for the contract to operate Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM, Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman announced today. The team, called Los Alamos National Security LLC, faced a rival bid from a team that included the University of Texas and Lockheed Martin.
