Seeking to improve fleet readiness, the Marine Corps is conducting aviation reviews of different platforms, according to a senior service official. Lt. Gen. Jon Davis, deputy commandant for aviation, told reporters after an Aug. 12 presentation at the Center for Strategic and International Studies that his office recently completed a review of CH-53 and AV-8B readiness.
