UTC CEO: Following Sikorsky Sale, Company More Focused On 'Core'

With Lockheed Martin now ready to buy Sikorsky, United Technologies will become "more focused" on its core businesses, the UTC chief executive said Tuesday. On Monday, Lockheed said it has agreed to pay $9 billion to acquire the helicopter maker, and the deal is expected to close around the end of the year.
