White House Requests $400 Million to Support Pakistani Counterinsurgency Ops

The White House wants to funnel $400 million into training and procurement for Pakistan's armed forces to support current and future counterinsurgency operations in that country, according to the administration's latest supplemental appropriations request for fiscal year 2009.
