Wolfowitz Approves Plan to Improve Military's Foreign Language Skills

The Defense Department has rolled out big plans to sharpen military foreign language skills and raise the profile of personnel with expertise in foreign cultures. The goal is to nurture and promote these skills as strategic assets in the U.S. military's global war on terrorism, according to DOD officials.
