CBO cost estimate of AUMF legislation

The April 7, 2021 Congressional Budget Office cost estimate of legislation that would repeal the law that "authorized the president to use the armed forces to defend the United States against the threat posed by Iraq and to enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq . . . estimates that repealing the authorizing legislation would not affect spending to support current military operations in Iraq; thus enacting the bill would not affect the federal budget."
