DSB memo on strategic counter-autonomy assessment

In a June 18, 2018 terms of reference memo, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Michael Griffin directs the Defense Science Board to form a task force on counter autonomy to assess the threat to U.S. forces, gaps in U.S. military capabilities, implications of artificial intelligence advances for autonomous systems as well as provide recommendations on potential requirements for new weapon systems and associated investments.
