Austin snags Army Futures Command headquarters

The Army has chosen to station its new Futures Command headquarters in downtown Austin, TX, senior service leaders announced last week. Service Under Secretary Ryan McCarthy told reporters at the Pentagon July 13 a team of about six was en route to Austin, marking initial operational capability.
