Army PEO Aviation industry day set for February

The Army's Program Executive Office for Aviation is holding an industry day Feb. 12 to discuss multidomain operations across its portfolio.

The event will include panels focused on challenges with MDO suitability, holistic survivability, interoperability and increased aircrew effectiveness, according to a Jan. 10 Army notice.

The notice states the "purpose of the event is to convey the vision of PEO Aviation in addressing MDO, provide perspective into the future force modernization requirements, present identified portfolio challenges and invite industry to identify innovative solutions for those challenges, by means of enhanced white paper submissions."

The service is looking for advanced tail rotor drive shaft solutions, artificial intelligence enabled real-time tactical information exchange, advanced survivability solutions and automated digitized airspace control planning among other capabilities.

The Aviation and Missile Technology Consortium will release a request for enhanced white papers following the industry day.

The industry day will be held in Huntsville, AL and industry should register by Feb. 5.
