Army purchases rocket launchers

Lockheed Martin has received a $289 million contract modification to provide 24 M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems launchers, the Defense Department announced this week.

The award also includes training, spares and enhanced product improvement modifications and ends on July 1, 2022.

The Army obligated $127 million in fiscal year 2018 funding at the time of award, according to DOD.
