Army seeking Shadow, Raven UAV electronic warfare payloads

The Army is looking for electronic warfare capabilities ​from industry for its RQ-7 Shadow and RQ-11B Raven tactical unmanned aircraft systems.

According to two Army notices issued Nov. 22, Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, and the product director for electronic attack are looking for already existing high-maturity systems from industry for the RQ-7 and RQ-11B.

Requirements for both systems include being able to integrate with the Army's Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool, reprogramming between flights, identifying and locating targeted emitters and having a technology readiness level of 8 or 9.

White papers for both aircraft are due Dec. 23.
