CACI International reported this week that sales in its most recent quarter grew nearly 20 percent to hit $977.3 million.
Profit too increased, growing 17 percent to reach $34 million.
During the quarter, the company completed its acquisition of L-3 Communications' national security solutions business. That business contributed $171.9 million in sales and $5.6 million in profit, CACI said.
During a Thursday morning call with analysts, Ken Asbury, CACI's chief executive, said the acquired unit is already "performing brilliantly."
