Computer Sciences Corp. said today its board has approved proceeding with the separation of its U.S. public sector-focused business, which will be known as CSRA.

The company had previously said the public sector company, which will be separated from its commercial and international work, would be called Computer Sciences Government Services. However, it later announced it would combine that government services unit with SRA International. That deal is now set to be finalized on Nov. 30, CSC said today.

Shares of the new company will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "CSRA."
