Kratos reports increased sales

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions said Thursday sales in its most recent quarter reached $185.7 million, up from $168.2 million during the same three-month period a year earlier.

However, the company reported a quarterly loss of $6.2 million, less than the $10.4 million loss the prior year.

Kratos said its unmanned systems business saw quarterly sales grow to $22.2 million, up from $17.8 million the prior year. However, the business reported a loss of $1.8 million in the quarter.

Kratos Government Solutions reported sales and profit increases; sales reached $125.6 million, while profit hit $5.7 million.
