Lockheed Martin said today Rick Edwards has been tapped to lead Lockheed Martin International, while Frank St. John will oversee the company's missiles and fire control business. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Edwards, who joined Lockheed almost 35 years ago, has spent the last five years as head of the MFC business.

Last year, Lockheed said, he was named to lead Lockheed's business in Saudi Arabia, and he will continue to hold that role.

"Under his leadership of Lockheed Martin International, he will focus on developing and executing strategies to grow the corporation's international business by strengthening customer relationships and industry partnerships in the 70 countries where we do business," the contractor said.

St. John, who has been with Lockheed more than 30 years, most recently was executive vice president and deputy of MFC programs.
