Mission Essential Names New CEO

Mission Essential announced today it has named Sunil Ramchand, who first joined the contractor in 2009, its new chief executive.

The company provides interpretation and translation services to defense and intelligence agencies.

Ramchand first served as executive vice president and chief of staff, but has since also been the company's chief administrative officer and its chief strategy and business development officer. Before joining Mission Essential, he worked at the White House during the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations.

He replaces Peter Horvath, who was CEO for three years.
