The Secretary of the Navy Advisory Panel and subcommittee Naval Research Advisory Committee will convene next month to review one study on acquiring unmanned systems and another on improving the service's governance.

According to a Federal Register notice, the panel and subcommittee are set to meet Jan. 8 at the Pentagon.

They will “discuss materials in support of two studies: 'Use and Acquisition of Unmanned Systems in the Department of the Navy' and 'Improving Governance in the Department of the Navy,'” the notice says.
