After completing its purchase of Information Innovators, Salient CRGT is now seeking to fully merge the two companies.

Earlier this month, Salient CRGT said it had closed on its acquisition of Information Innovators, which particularly focuses on health IT. The deal brings Salient CRGT's annual revenue to more than $500 million and its total employee headcount to more than 2,200.

Tom Ferrando, president of Salient CRGT, told Inside Defense this month that acquiring Information Innovators brings new capabilities as well as contract vehicles, including the Department of Veterans Affairs' Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract vehicle.

"There was a whole segment of healthcare agencies that we'd been looking to penetrate," he said.

Ferrando said the company is also using the deal as a chance "to completely restructure the organization," including refocusing its business development effort.

Salient CRGT announced today that Larry Rose, senior vice president of contracts and procurement, is taking on a larger role at the company. He will lead Salient CRGT's commercial division "as the company continues to expand its commercial software lines for us in a wider array of sectors," according to the company's announcement.

Rose joined Salient CRGT in 2010. He had previously worked at ICF International and DRC.
