The Army's product manager for soldier precision targeting devices is holding a two-day virtual industry conference later this month to discuss its portfolio.

The "precision targeting industry days" will be held June 23 and 24 virtually and will provide an update on SPTD plans, the current technology road map and schedule and an opportunity for industry to showcase how it can support existing programs within the portfolio, according to a June 9 Army notice.

"Squad-level capability areas are of particular interest to PdM SPTD, where size, weight, and power are of paramount importance," the notice says.

The areas of interest include novel imaging sensors; GPS-denied technologies with jamming reduction; power reduction technologies and methods; novel laser technologies; lightweight materials; orientation sensors; high-precision nonmechanical boresighting methods; and image and laser stabilization.

Vendors will have 30 minutes or less for presentations, which will be followed by one-on-one engagements with the Army "to present their capabilities to support any future program opportunities and ask specific questions."

Registration closes June 12.
