SOS International picks up Defense Group Inc.

Defense and intelligence contractor SOS International said today it has acquired data analytics and cyber solutions company Defense Group Inc.

Last year, SOSi acquired New World Solutions, which specialized in imagery science, cyber analytics and research and development and counted among its major customers the National Ground Intelligence Center, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office.

SOSi said DGI would expand its group of customers and add new cyber intelligence capabilities.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
