NATO begins a leaders' summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Tuesday

The Senate Armed Services Committee will meet to consider the nomination of Air Force Gen. Charles Brown to be chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Wednesday

The Senate Armed Services Committee will meet to consider the nomination of Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to be Army chief of staff.

The Senate Intelligence Committee will meet to consider the nomination of Air Force Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh to lead the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command and Michael Casey to be director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.

Thursday

The Intelligence and National Security Summit starts and runs through Friday.
